Hi! I’m Amy and I’m a busy person who still wants to eat delicious things. I work full time and have a husband and two dogs to feed. No matter what life throws at me I enjoy being in my kitchen and eating good food.
Food wise, eating in our home can be a bit of a juggling act. Between food allergies, migraine triggers and our general fussiness it can be difficult to find anything that we will eat. And that’s before thinking about my chaotic schedule.
Last year, I started making the vast majority of my food at home to stop eating frozen dinners. It was the first time I ever meal planned, but after a few weeks I was hooked. Now I want to share what I’ve learned and my love for cooking with you!
He works full time and is a grad student. I consider myself lucky if he has time to eat. Occasionally, he even has time to help in the kitchen, especially if we are making cake.
He’s my oldest fur baby. I got him as a rescue back in 2016 and now he is about 9 years old in human years. He likes to supervise all eating and some cooking. Other than that, he is a blanket origami master, and his favorite thing is to go on walks.
She is our newest addition to the family. We adopted her in December of 2021 and she’s about 2 years old. We are still getting to know her, but she enjoys sleeping like a poppy seed bagel.
